Environment

In a particularly gentle and warm atmosphere and colourful environment, with attractive furniture that still meets health and safety standards, the babies are entrusted to the care of highly qualified and competent staff members. They have been selected for their gentle movements and voices to which, as we know, little ones are extremely sensitive.

At their own rhythm

All aspects of the babies’ development -learning to control their bodily functions and desires, developing the capacity for social and emotional interaction - will be nurtured, and each baby will progress at his or her own rhythm.Aside from significant time periods for this age group that are spent for washing, resting and eating meals, a great deal of time is set aside for games that stimulate the senses (sight, hearing, touch). The little ones are provided with multi-coloured toys, mobiles, soft music, bird songs, hand games and nursery rhymes.

Progress

For those who have taken their “first steps,” activities are planned to enhance their movements and coordinate their gestures (crawling, somersaults, games with large balls, etc.) as well as to teach them to speak. These activities fulfill the obvious need for stimulation at that age.

The child educators are always available to talk with the parents about their child. Furthermore, a daily summary is written about the child’s progress and aptitudes.

It should be added that, in order to increase the quality of this service, there are a limited number of places, that is to say, one educator for four babies.
